Card Game
Mission
Caring & Controversial Conversations is a card game designed to do what most small talk refuses to do: get real. The goal is to spark interesting conversation among family, friends, and even strangers conversations that are funny, uncomfortable, productive, and surprisingly meaningful. This isn’t about “winning.” It’s about learning from people when they’re given permission to say what they normally keep tucked away.
Each round invites you into a mix of caring, curious, conscious, controversial, and conspiracy topics, so be prepared to laugh, pause, rethink, and maybe even disagree with love. If you’re ready to learn, listen, and lean into the uncomfortable in a way that still feels human…shuffle up.

Card Game
Vision
This game was created out of a deep love for learning, truth telling, and building within the African American community. Every question is an invitation to talk, listen, challenge ourselves, and to grow together.
Our hope is that these conversations don’t end when the cards go back in the box. We want them to spark ideas, curiosity, and confidence that carry into classrooms, living rooms, group chats, and everyday choices. If we can create space to think bigger, speak freer, and learn louder, we can help uplift our children and our community. The intent is to understand the world we live in and learn how we thrive in it.
As we play, we also honor the ancestors who paved the way, those who loved us enough to fight, build, teach, and dream when it wasn’t safe or easy. May we carry that spirit forward by loving one another, staying united, and committing to growth with courage and care.
